We are an association dedicated to community service. The core of CDSA was established in 2010 in response to the economic climate that effected so many in the workforce. It was at that time SOW was established to assist these persons through employment workshops and job posts on Facebook.
In 2012 part of the SOW team headed to Washington D.C. to network with the US Department of Labor's Job Club efforts to return the long-term unemployed to the workforce which gave us further determination to help our community.
The greater vision to Connect, Enrich, Educate and Develop (CEED) Adults, Youth and Senior’s grew from the motivation to make employment and educational resources available while providing access to much needed services to the Metro Atlanta community.
Many schools are losing Music & Arts programs which speak to the creative development of our youth. To fill this gap It's A MAP is ready to serve through classes, clinics, workshops, theatrical and musical performances. Wee Communicate and Seasoned 4 Life came to light to assist parents of wee ones and family members assisting seniors in 2013, and the journey began to formalize this great vision into The Community Directed Services Association.
